With a triangular floor plan and complete earth berming on two sides to take advantage of geothermal energy, you might expect this house to be dark, but the south facing glass façade creates a bright interior that maximizes solar efficiency. The house is built from reused copper and local black cherry. All energy requirements for the building are produced by a 12 kWh photovoltaic array.
